Conscientious {Link}

Todays link is the fine art photography blog Conscientious.  It's run by founder and editor Jörg M. Colberg and he's based right here in my home state of Massachusetts.  He covers a broad swath of contemporary fine art photography with in-depth reviews and interesting commentary.  Definitely a must read for anyone interested in this type of photography.  So go check out Mr. Colberg's (newly redesigned) site.

The Andersons {Music}

Spent some time in the studio with The Andersons one day this past week while they were recording at Mad Oak Studios in Boston.  Towards the end of the shoot we grabbed a few promo shots too.  Good times.  You can check out their music here

Paige Jennifer Foley {Portrait}

Had a lot of fun with Paige last weekend.  Uber cute.  She was a great subject with no fussing.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Senior Portrait Book {Marketing}

SENIOR PORTRAITS by DAMIEN GAUDET | BOOK INFO

I've been trying to come up with some interesting/effective ways of marketing my portrait work, especially seniors, as it's about that time of year.

I've made a portfolio of some of my senior portraits from this past year and you can preview it above.  If, for some reason, you'd like to own this book click here.

The Photography Post {Link}

I'm thinking on Fridays I'm going to try and highlight a blog or website I enjoy.  Todays link is the brandy new photography site called, The Photography Post.  It was founded just a few months ago by: Danielle Franca Swift, Rachel Hulin, Kate Steciw, and Henry Tam.  I found it through A Photography Blog, another site by Rachel Hulin

The Photography Post uses images to highlight new posts and news from around the interwebs relating to Photography (heavy on fine art).  Most of the top/popular photo blogs are covered, including: Strobist, WTJ?, Heather Morton, PDN, ApertureA Photo Editor, and many more.

The bottom line is this, if you're interested in photography, this site is for you.  It's one-stop shopping for all the latest interesting photo happenings and musings from around the industry.  Check out The Photography Post when you have a chance.

Worcester Rocks! {Event}

Portrait of Joel

Joel (above) has one of his photos in the Worcester Rocks! photo show tonight.  It's being held at the Worcester Art Museum and showcases the local music scene as documented by local photographers.  Joel is always out and about and captures some great images.  You can check out his flickr here.  My lovely wife Sarah and I will be in attendance, so if you're in the area, come check it out.
