Contrary

I got a chance to work with Contrary last week to film a quick music video for his song, Minivan Music. I had done some promo shots for him a few years back and it was a blast working with him again. The video will be out shortly, and I'll be posting up a link here.

These images were done in about 5 minutes at the end of the video shoot. It was a cool location, so I pulled out one light, raised it up about 15 feet and fired off a few shots.

Some More Andersons

Just a few more from the Anderson's shoot.

The Andersons

Had a shoot with The Andersons back in December who will be coming out with their second album soon.  We messed around with some multiple exposures, pics with a lot of movement, and some ring flash.  These guys were up for anything, so that always makes a shoot enjoyable.

Spent some time in the studio with The Andersons one day this past week while they were recording at Mad Oak Studios in Boston.  Towards the end of the shoot we grabbed a few promo shots too.  Good times.  You can check out their music here. 

Contrary {Music}

Here are a few images from a shoot I did last week with up and coming rapper Contrary.  Check out his stuff on myspace and look for his soon to be released album.

It was a really fun shoot and the guys were up for anything I threw at them.  Looking forward to possibly another shoot with these guys this coming summer.

  

Haiti

The earthquake in Haiti has really mobilized people around the world to help.  A friend of ours is putting together a fundraiser concert on February 14th to raise money to be donated to the relief efforts.  I was happy to volunteer my services to try and help out.  I'll be at the event all day taking portraits and band promo pics.  For a small donation you can get a nice portrait or your band can get some press shots to use to market yourselves.  I'm really looking forward to this event and hope anyone who is in the area can attend.

More Ingenue {Music}

My friend Joe's band Ingenue was in from L.A. last night to play a gig at TT the Bears in Cambridge, MA.  They were opening for Kay Hanley and it was a great show.  You can check them out here.  You can view more pics from the show in my flickr stream.
