Shot a few quick images before heading out for lunch with my brother, Myles.

Granite Tree
This tree is down the street from my house. It sits right in the middle of the sidewalk, and right in front of this tiny little abandoned house. My mother-in-law had me take a picture of it for my brother-in-law for Christmas.

Brit Bike Show {Moto}
Small bike show/swap in Oxford, MA a few weeks ago. Lots of cool bikes to gawk at, and lots of people selling high quality accessories and parts junk. Good times.

Capturing the Dramatic Moment with Tyler Stableford {Inspiration}
Tuesday night I attended a fantastic presentation by adventure photographer Tyler Stableford. The event was put on by the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) New England Chapter and the Commercial Industrial Photographers of New England (CIPNE). Hosting the festivities was photo store/studio EP Levine. Tyler is a Canon sponsored, "Explorer of Light" and also shoots for Getty Images.
Tyler showed some of his work and explained his philosophy and some technical aspects from some of his shoots. Tyler came across as a very considerate and passionate photographer who is deeply committed to creating images that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also that tell a story and communicate to the viewer in a powerful way.
He also premiered a new short film on a para-olympic skier that was very moving. The film is a documentary on an Iraqi Army Ranger that lost both legs in an explosion, and just four years later, was competing against world-class talent as a skier. Incredible stuff for sure.
You can keep up to date with Tyler's work at his blog.

Worcester Rocks! {Event}
Portrait of Joel
Joel (above) has one of his photos in the Worcester Rocks! photo show tonight. It's being held at the Worcester Art Museum and showcases the local music scene as documented by local photographers. Joel is always out and about and captures some great images. You can check out his flickr here. My lovely wife Sarah and I will be in attendance, so if you're in the area, come check it out.

Ton-Up! {Personal}
This is my motorcycle. I love my motorcycle.
I'm posting this because:
a.) it's nice out, so I got to ride.
b.) who doesn't like looking at cool motorcycles?
c.) even though this is my "work" blog, no one reads it anyway.
Also, I have a cousin and uncle in Ireland who are big into motorcycles, and I thought I'd give them a glimpse of the beast. (Hi Keith + Dave!)

It's a 2004 Triumph Thruxton that I bought used a few years ago with 4000 miles on it. I love the "cafe racer" aesthetic of this bike. It's like it was transported directly from a bygone era, an era that was rad.
I just painted my exhaust black, and the headlight bucket and wheels are next up on the agenda. I also plan on installing some fork gaiters and black header wrap. It's really tough for me to find the time to work on the bike, only because I'd much rather be riding it.

Hike {Personal}
The weather has been fantastic this weekend. I got my first motorcycle ride in yesterday, and today Sarah and I went for a nice hike near our house. Here are a few from today.
