Engagement Session {Portrait}

We lucked out this past Saturday and the weather cooperated nicely for an engagement session at Moore State Park in Paxton, MA.  (The Nor 'Easter blew in on Sunday.)

We had a good time wandering the trails and taking in the beautiful grounds of the park.  After now getting to know this great couple a bit, I'm really looking forward to a fun wedding next year!  Here's preview of the session.

In the LA Times {Published}

Well, I just received word that a one of my pictures is being featured in an LA Times online gallery.  It's from a quick shoot I did for the Hotel's website.  blankfocus did the hotel site.

My image is the one you see below, it's number 8 in the gallery.  I took this image with a D70s, handheld, with the ISO cranked up...needless to say, this is not the pic I expected to get published anywhere but the hotel site...shows you what I know.  Thanks LA Times!

Volvo S60 R {Auto}

I love cars. Any chance I get, I like to wake up early and catch the morning light for car images. Not only do I love taking the photos, but empty roads at 5a.m. are always nice too. This killer Volvo belongs to a friend of mine. Awesome car.

My friend Joe's band Ingenue was in from L.A. last night to play a gig at TT the Bears in Cambridge, MA.  They were opening for Kay Hanley and it was a great show.  You can check them out here.  You can view more pics from the show in my flickr stream.

Wedding Photojournalist Association {News}

Just wanted to mention my acceptance into the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). It's a great resource and has loads of great photographers taking part in their quarterly contests and I'm honored to be an active member.
